The activity system is the centre of LFA Master. It gives spotters a shared view of reported low-flying activity and separates unverified reports from activity confirmed by other people.
Potential activity
New community reports initially appear as potential activity, making it immediately clear that a sighting has been reported but has not yet received independent confirmation.
Confirmed activity
When another independent spotter confirms the same report, the activity moves into confirmed status so users can quickly distinguish stronger reports from unconfirmed ones.
Spotter count
Activity records show how many spotters are associated with the sighting, giving additional context to how widely an event has been seen.
Source visibility
Reports can identify their source, such as scanner traffic, ADS-B data, visual observation, social media or another source, giving useful context to the report.
LFA filtering
The activity feed can be narrowed to a specific Low Flying Area so you can concentrate on the area you're actually interested in.
Regular updates
The activity page refreshes automatically so newly reported information can appear without the user repeatedly refreshing the browser.

A dedicated mobile-first form lets you submit an aircraft report without working through a large multi-page process.
Automatic date and time
The current UK date and time are automatically captured when submitting a sighting, so you don't have to stop and manually enter the timestamp.
Common aircraft selection
Choose an aircraft from a list of common types, with an Other option available when the aircraft you saw isn't included.
Aircraft count
Record whether you saw one aircraft or a larger formation using a simple aircraft-count selector.
Source selection
Choose how the sighting was identified, including scanner, ADS-B data, visual sighting, social media and other sources.
Optional detail
Callsigns and notes can be added when useful, but they remain optional so a quick report can still be submitted when time is limited.

The reporting flow is intentionally compact and mobile-first. You can record the essentials quickly without having to type out unnecessary information while an aircraft is passing overhead.

A single action lets another user confirm that they independently saw the aircraft described in an existing activity report.
Independent confirmation
The original reporter cannot confirm their own sighting. Confirmation comes from another authenticated spotter.

A report becomes confirmed once another independent spotter confirms it, creating a stronger community-supported activity record.

Useful context
