Community Rules

1.1 Only report genuine activity

Only submit activity that you genuinely observed, reasonably identified or have a reasonable basis to believe occurred. Information may come from visual observation, scanner information, ADS-B information, public information or another source that you reasonably believe to be genuine.

1.2 Do not fabricate information

Do not deliberately invent aircraft types, callsigns, locations, times, sources, aircraft counts or other details to make a report appear more credible.

1.3 Correct genuine mistakes

Genuine mistakes are not treated in the same way as deliberate fabrication. Where you discover that your report is wrong, correct it using the available features or contact LFA Master where correction cannot otherwise be made.

1.4 Do not misrepresent your source

Do not claim that information came from visual observation, radio traffic, ADS-B, social media or another source when it did not.

2.1 Do not confirm your own report

You must not use another account, a secondary account or another method to artificially confirm your own activity.

2.2 Only make genuine confirmations

A confirmation should represent an independent observation or reasonable verification of the reported activity.

2.3 No coordinated fake confirmations

Do not coordinate with other users to manufacture confirmations, inflate activity counts or make potential activity appear more reliable than it is.

2.4 Do not exchange confirmations for favours

Do not agree to confirm another user's report unless you independently observed or reasonably verified the activity.

2.5 Confirmed does not mean officially verified

A confirmed report represents community confirmation. It does not mean that LFA Master has independently verified the aircraft, route, location, callsign, source or any other detail.

3.1 Do not flood the activity feed

Do not submit excessive reports for the purpose of flooding the activity feed or making genuine reports difficult to find.

3.2 Avoid deliberate duplicate reports

Where an existing report represents the same activity, do not deliberately create additional reports simply to increase visibility, notifications or activity counts.

3.3 Do not manipulate statistics

Artificially increasing confirmations, activity counts, engagement or other visible statistics is prohibited.

3.4 Do not abuse notification features

Do not deliberately create activity for the purpose of generating unwanted notifications for yourself or another user.

4.1 Keep public content appropriate

LFA Master generally does not permit profanity or seriously offensive language in public-facing user content, including display names, profiles, notes, reports and other visible content.

4.2 Do not bypass language restrictions

Deliberately disguising prohibited language using numbers, symbols, spaces, punctuation or similar techniques remains prohibited where the intended meaning is reasonably clear.

4.3 Context may be considered

LFA Master may consider context where a word or expression also has an innocent technical, geographic, aviation or other legitimate meaning.

5.1 No harassment

Do not repeatedly target another person with unwanted, hostile, intimidating or abusive behaviour.

5.2 No threats

Threats of violence, harm, intimidation or unlawful conduct are prohibited.

5.3 No targeted abuse

Do not repeatedly insult, humiliate, intimidate or deliberately distress another user.

5.4 Keep disagreements civil

Users may disagree about aircraft identification, sources, locations or spotting information, but disagreements must not become personal abuse or intimidation.

6.1 No hateful conduct

Do not use LFA Master to promote or direct hatred, hostility or abuse against people or groups because of characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, disability or other personal characteristics.

6.2 No slurs

Slurs and derogatory terms directed at individuals or groups are prohibited.

6.3 Context does not automatically excuse abuse

Quoting, disguising or indirectly repeating discriminatory language does not automatically make it acceptable.

7.1 Do not impersonate another person

Do not deliberately pretend to be another LFA Master user or otherwise create a misleading impression about your identity.

7.2 Do not impersonate LFA Master staff

Do not claim to be an administrator, moderator, developer, representative or other authorised person when you are not.

7.3 No deceptive accounts

Accounts must not be created for deception, manipulation or evasion of platform restrictions.

8.1 No unauthorised access

Do not attempt to access another user's account, administrative functionality, databases, private information or systems without authorisation.

8.2 Do not bypass security controls

Do not attempt to bypass suspensions, restrictions, rate limits, authentication controls or other technical protections.

8.3 No abusive automation

Scripts, bots and automated systems must not be used to create accounts, manipulate activity, flood endpoints or interfere with the normal operation of LFA Master.

8.4 No deliberate disruption

Do not deliberately attempt to damage, disable, overload or disrupt LFA Master or its supporting systems.

9.1 Do not publish another person's private information

Do not publish another person's private or sensitive information without an appropriate lawful basis or permission.

9.2 No doxxing

Publishing information to identify, expose, intimidate, target or endanger another person is prohibited.

9.3 Do not obtain information by deception

Do not trick or pressure another person into providing a password, private account information or other personal information.

10.1 Do not encourage dangerous behaviour

Do not use LFA Master to encourage conduct that creates an unreasonable risk to yourself, another person, aircraft, property or aviation operations.

10.2 Respect access and legal restrictions

You are responsible for following applicable laws, trespass rules, site restrictions, aviation restrictions and other relevant requirements when spotting.

10.3 LFA Master is not an operational safety system

LFA Master does not provide air traffic control, flight planning, navigation, emergency response, NOTAM services or other authoritative aviation operational services.

Activity reports, notifications, frequencies, operating information and other content must not be treated as authoritative operational or aviation safety information.

10.4 Do not interfere with aviation operations

Do not use LFA Master to organise or encourage interference with aircraft, airfields, personnel or aviation operations.

11.1 Keep names appropriate

Usernames and display names must not contain prohibited abuse, threats, hateful language, deliberate impersonation or other seriously inappropriate content.

11.2 No deceptive identity claims

Do not use a name or profile designed to falsely suggest that you represent LFA Master, an official organisation, military unit or other person or entity.

12.1 Do not evade restrictions

Creating another account to bypass a suspension, restriction or other moderation decision is prohibited.

12.2 Do not use multiple accounts for manipulation

Multiple accounts must not be used to create fake confirmations, manipulate activity, evade controls or gain an unfair advantage.

13.1 Report genuine concerns

Reporting tools should be used to identify genuine problems, suspected rule violations or safety and security concerns.

13.2 Do not abuse reporting

Deliberately false or malicious reports intended to punish, suspend or remove another user may themselves constitute a rule breach.

13.3 Requests for review

Where a review is available, users may ask LFA Master to reconsider a moderation decision using the available contact or review mechanism.

14.1 Moderation decisions are based on context

LFA Master may consider the seriousness, circumstances, impact, intent and history associated with an incident.

14.2 Previous conduct may matter

Repeated or continuing breaches may receive a stronger response than an isolated and minor first breach.

14.3 Immediate action may be taken

LFA Master may act without prior warning where reasonably necessary to protect users, personal information, system security, the integrity of community activity or the service itself.
